Full Review:

I finished this book and im still stuck in the world of the book. I remember finishing the first book and anticipating the second but then I read some reviews online and it described the plot a bit saying that there was a a girl named Jade that was really mean and was annoying throughout the book(which she is) and that caused them to get annoyed to the point where they enjoyed it less (that did not happen to me thought as annoying and mean as she was I still loved the book) and then the fact that Dez and Kale has there relationship threatened in more ways than one. Those things just made me think  it would be hard to read since I loved Dez and Kale together and I don’t want to read a whole book where they are slowly growing apart. So I put off reading it a bit and now I am really sorry I did not read it sooner those things in no way made me not like the book and I found myself liking this book as much as the first one which is a lot.

Dez in this book is going through some pretty though stuff in this book which is an understatement that’s one thing I liked not that she was going through hell but that there where more than the one basic plot line going on at once. There where many problems she was facing and they all kind of fit together in the story if that makes sense in that way the author did a great job at not making the reader feel over whelmed .Maybe it was because of the main character Dez she is one though chica she doesn’t let herself get pushed around though this aspect of her was less prominent in this book than the first one where really no one is able to mess with her  its still there though at some points she does get a tad whiny in the book but really with impendent death freaky twins following her, Denazen , issues with Kale the possibility of going insane in 8 months I think she has a right to that.

One thing I really like about this book is  Kale he is just the sweetest guy ever because he was stuck in Denazen for all this time he doesn`t really know what lying is or what the right social customs are. He is so innocent but also deadly as Deznee would say .If you read the first book you know all that already but there are some really good examples in this book that will make you smile .The ending his way of proving his love to Deznee is just so adorable and innocent  no ordinary guy would get away with it but somehow instead of making me think hes a jerk (I thought that at the beginning though but not after he explained himself ) it being Kale it just made me smile (intrigued than trust me and read the second book). All the characters where good and you got to know them. Most of the characters have back story's which really makes them 3 dimensional.

The plot was really good there where many thing going on and it kept you guessing till the very end. Also the end is very criptique and promises some good things from the next book the last phrase of the book was …..( if you don’t want to know do not read these words in italic ) The worst is still to come and if you finish this book you might be with me on the "what is going to happen?!?"  front im sure she can go through worst than in this book but honestly at the moment I can`t think of something because what she went through in this book is pretty horrible.

Like I said in my last review im a fan of X-men and this book was kind of similar in a way to X-men something that I really liked. Jus Accardo did not copy it in any way but the concept of certain people in the human race are mutants (in this case a change to the six chromosome thank you 11th grade biology for making it more interesting as we talked about it in class)  that have supernatural abilities and they range from very different things like invisibility to fire and healing and much more. Those things make it really a cool book. Add in a great plot an evil company intent on..... actually what there plan is we really don’t know yet I hadn't really thought about that you do know they use Sixes as private assassins and to do experiments to make people under there control more powerful but what is their ultimate goal is not revealed yet hmmm... Another thing to look forward to in the next book. One things for sure though there certainly not there for world peace, also add some science experiments, and every day lifely woes to the rest and it really is a winner.

I actually laughed at loud at some parts and was angry at others (hint hint Jade) some parts I was sad and that really is a description of a good book one that makes you feel emotions when you read it one that has you connect with the characters and care for them. I was reading this Today and could not help myself from going to my friend and saying omg im so angry at this person or this is so sad ,i can't believe that just happened ect.. she probably thought I was weird, Or maybe not who knows since im always wonderfully unique and she might be used to it by now :)  but the point is it takes a good book  that I really enjoyed and got into to do that.
Just a notice this book does contain some swear words pretty often so if that bothers you this may not be the book for you. But if you think you can get passed it do read it. It really is a good book and probably wouldn't bother most people. I'm usually one of those people who dislikes books with too many swear words usually it just annoys me because all I can think of is "this book does not need all these swear words for it to be good". It usually makes me stop reading it.(I don`t mind swear words here and there but I've started some books were the amount is just ridiculous.) My point in telling you this is that this book did not bother me despite the language at times. So give it a shot if your hesitant on the front of the swearing issue.(wow this is a much longer than I meant to write on the subject I just want it to be clear to everyone.Hopefully it was )

So to resume all that this book was fantastic I loved it .I was interested  throughout the whole book the characters where great and so was the plot it was one of those books you could really jump into.

Rating : 4 and 1/2 stars

Quick Review:

- Great characters that you got to know and love
-great plot
-well written
-Kale is awesome

And as always here are some quotes from the book all the quotes for this review where taken from here they are :

“He didn’t operate on the same frequency as everyone else. On one hand, he was more dangerous than anyone I’d ever met.
He could slip into a room, kill you with a spatula, and be out of town before anyone knew about it. On the other, he was the most pure, untarnished soul I’d ever come across. It was an odd mix so uniquely Kale, and I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world.”

 Jus Accardo -Toxic

“„It's really all about focus and control. Clear your mind and think about the plant. Don't over think it. Picture green and pretty.”
Kale scrunched up his nose and cringed away.
„It's not pretty. It looks like a weed. And it smells bad.”

  Jus Accardo -Toxic

“Alex could name each member of every nineties alternative band ever formed. Kale could kick all their asses.”
   Jus Accardo -Toxic

“So what'd we miss?" Jade pulled a chair from the next table and wedged it between Kale and Dax.
"We were just about to vote you off the island," I said, stirring my coffee.
"You've got my vote," Kiernan said enthusiastically, glaring at Jade.”

  Jus Accardo -Toxic

“I looked around. Kale was glaring daggers at Alex, who was staring at me like I'd lost my mind. Jade was eye-humping Kale like a lovesick puppy while Kiernan looked ready to kick her ass.
Seriously. Worse-timed drama ever.”

Review-Dark Star by Bethany Frenette

Title: Dark Star
Author: Bethany Frenette
Publishing company: Disney Hyperion
Pages : 386

Audrey Whitticomb has nothing to fear. Her mother is the superhero Morning Star, the most deadly crime-fighter in the Twin Cities, so it's hard for Audrey not to feel safe. That is, until she's lured into the sweet night air by something human and not human--something with talons and teeth, and a wide, scarlet smile.

Now Audrey knows the truth: her mom doesn't fight crime at night. She fights Harrowers--livid, merciless beings who were trapped Beneath eons ago. Yet some have managed to escape. And they want Audrey dead, just because of who she is: one of the Kin.

To survive, Audrey will need to sharpen the powers she has always had. When she gets close to someone, dark corners of the person's memories become her own, and she sometimes even glimpses the future. If Audrey could only get close to Patrick Tigue, a powerful Harrower masquerading as human, she could use her Knowing to discover the Harrowers' next move. But Leon, her mother's bossy, infuriatingly attractive sidekick, has other ideas. Lately, he won't let Audrey out of his sight.

When an unthinkable betrayal puts Minneapolis in terrible danger, Audrey discovers a wild, untamed power within herself. It may be the key to saving her herself, her family, and her city. Or it may be the force that destroys everything--and everyone--she loves.

Summary from

 Full Review:
Where to start with this book.... I came by this book while searching for superhero Ya novels I had just finished watching, X-men (again)i really love all those movies , the plot line and the concept of X-men so I decided I wanted to find a book with that kind of theme .So after some searching I found this book I put in on my to read list and then kind of didn't think about it for a while. Then a week ago I went to the library and they had it on the self so I held in a squeal of excitement and went home with a big smile that comes from getting a book you want to read. I was expecting an awesome superhero novel.

Once I had finished reading it I had a hard time deciding if it really was a superhero novel because yes her mom is a « superhero »but in a way shes not,the plot line is so awesomely developed that its more than your average superhero novel. The top layer is a superhero story but once you scratch the surface it opens up to a hole other plot .

I have to say I really liked this book the author combines a superhero story with a whole other side and twist to it.The whole town all see Audrey Whittcomb ( the main characters) mom « Morning star »as a superhero but in a reality she is part of multitude of people who are there to protect the city from some dark forces and creatures called guardians.I will not say more as to not ruin the plot but here is where I found Bethany Frennette world building really  kicked in and it got pretty cool .She creates a world that's really well thought out there`s a back story before Audrey's birth and a story line that promises excitement in the future. Not only that but the characters where a joy to read you could connect with most of them and I loved the humor she put in the novel. For example Audrey's sarcastic remarks where great most of the time(see quotes on bottom for example). There where so many other characters I loved for example Leon,Gideon her best friend,Mr Alvarez (aka Ryan) and Shane. I would've liked to see more of Shane he seemed like a really cool character but you only get to see him three times in the book. He's really mysterious and I want to know what his story is that's the one thing I would've liked more explored in the book. Hopefully there's more of him in the next book.Audrey as a main character was good I found she did not make many really stupid decisions and if she did it was because she had to help someone . I like how she was a strong character even though she was scared she still did what she thought was right. The book in all had a good pace it kept me interested the whole time. And there was not really any parts that where really predictable.
To resume It was a great book I loved the story ,the plot and the characters and I cant wait for the next book.

Quick review :
  • great concept
  • loved the characters
  • liked the humor
  • it`s a superhero story but not in the traditional sense
  • would have like to see more of Shane and see his back story
  • good pace kept me interested the whole time
    • cant wait for the next book

My rating: 4 Stars

As usual to finish it off, here are some of my favorite quotes of the book there so many awesome scenes. But I decided to chose from the ones online. I took these quotes from and Bethany Frennettes site where you can also read a preview of the first 7 chapters of Dark start here is the link  without further ado the quotes :

I already made icing. I told you not to buy any."
"Oops," I said, taking another scoop. "Looks like I messed up again. Guess I'll have to eat this."
He glanced toward me, giving a pointed look to the two containers I had set beside me. "All of it?" he asked.
"Maybe if you're nice, I'll share...But considering you've already met your niceness quote for the year, I wouldn't bet on it. And you can't have any sprinkles."
"There goes my reason for living."
"I thought that was to make me miserable.

Gideon tugged on my ponytail. “What’s wrong?”
Math teachers are evil,” I groaned. “And inhuman.”
We l l , that one is,” Tink agreed.
If there’s any justice in the world, he’ll spend his next life as
a toothbrush.” Or a gym shoe. Or a stick of gum. Or maybe really
old lettuce.
Bethany Frenette -Dark star (page 21 )

I’d lost my concentration and couldn’t get anything
at all from Tink. That bad?” she asked, wrinkling her nose. “What, does he
have too many toes?”
Gideon paused in the middle of chewing his hamburger. “Is that a deal breaker?”
Depends on how many.” She took a moment to consider this, then turned to me. “How many?”
I was no longer in the mood for the reading, but Tink was expecting something. I tucked my cards into my bag and shrugged.
Just the ten,” I answered. “Unless some have fallen off. That’s the problemhe’s undead.”
That does seem to be going around,” Gideon remarked.
Tink threw a fry at me. “You’re hilarious.”
Even worse? He has a summer job as a rodeo clown.”
Tink had a horror of rodeos. She refused to discuss it. She crossed her arms and glared at me. “Your cards told you he’s an undead rodeo clown.”
With an unspecified number of toes,” Gideon added, grinning.
I need better friends,” said Tink.
You love us,” I countered.
Tink responded by giving me the finger. “I’m still asking him out,” she said.

Review : Earth Bound by Aprilynne Pike

This book is about Tavia Micheals the only survivor of a 256 passenger flight plane crash.I have read Aprylinn Pikes other series called Wings and I enjoyed it alot.(I read it a couple of years ago)With the interesting description and intriguing cool looking cover I was excited to read it.But when I finished it I had mixed feelings about the book.Full review below.

Title: earth Bound
Author:Aprilynne Pike
Publishing company: Razorbill
Pages: 338

Tavia Michaels is the sole survivor of the plane crash that killed her parents. When she starts to see strange visions of a boy she’s never spoken with in real life, she begins to suspect that there’s much about her past that she isn’t being told.

Tavia immediately searches for answers, desperate to determine why she feels so drawn to a boy she hardly knows. But when Tavia discovers that the aunt and uncle who took her in after her parents' death may have actually been responsible for the plane crash that killed them--and that she may have been the true intended victim--she flees for the safety of Camden, Maine, where the boy she sees in her visions instructs her to go.

Now, Tavia is on the run with no one to trust. No one, that is, except for her best friend and longtime crush, Benson.

Tavia feels torn between the boy who mysteriously comes to her at night and the boy who has been by her side every step of the way. But what Tavia doesn't know is that the world is literally falling apart and that to save it she will have to unite with the boy in her visions. Only problem? To do so would mean rejecting Benson's love. And that's the one thing Tavia Michaels swore she'd never do

Description from goodreads

Ok this book as I said above, im not sure if I loved it or hated it. Honestly when I first read the description im like this book looks so good but when I started reading it the beginning for me was very slow. It took about half the book to get into it and then, there was the problem of the choices she made for exemple I knew from the start that there was something not quite right about Benson then as the story progressed it became blatantly obvious that he was hiding something. Was it a good hiding something(he is actually there to protect her,he is a earthbound too,hes a super genius ect....) or a bad hiding something( hes evil, hes using her,he knows something he wont share ect...) well you'll have to read to find out.The secret he was hiding had me wondering for quite a bit of the book then I guessed it.But saying that i was suspecting him from the start of hiding something from her or maybe more acuratly that he seemed a bit off . I knew that he genuinely loved her.And Tavia the main character loves him too but for some reason partly what I said above and some other reasons too I really did not want them to be a couple. I really wanted her to be with Quinn. There where some other decisions that made me go " come on" for example.

spoiler below

she finds a letter that says quote:
I am Quinn Avery.I am earthbound.I am creator,If you are reading these words.I pray thou be a trusted friend or mine own reborn.Within this box find ye the tools needed to restore me .But when ye have, seek and find Rebecca .Nothing in this wide world is of greater import.Find her.Give her the necklace.
And then she focuses, not on the part I underlined and put in bold but on the fact that she is jealous of Rebbeca.(which is really herself a fact I had guessed for a while by then). She does not even think twice about the part I underlined . I couldn't believe it in the box there's the tools to restore him if that's not important sounding or even a bit creepy to you what is.

Also as the story progresses the character Tavia slowly loses her character structure what makes her her (what makes a person a person she loses her personality her way of thinking at the start different emotions etc...)and I know its part of the story but I disliked it because you get to know her well at the start and then by the end of the books you barely recognize her.

It really was a love hate relationship with this book because even though all I said above is kind of negative I still found the book pretty good. It was a interesting twist in the supernatural genra because you did not know what or who she is.And the characters where well developed you got to know them well on top of that there are some mysteries that where not very obvious and some took you by surprise.I also liked the art aspect in the story but thought it was not developed nearly enough. But With the slow start the ending was really fast paced and maybe a bit rushed I feel because there where many big revelation 2
certain deaths and a 3rd possible one all the deaths of characters you got to know pretty well. All in the space of 18 pages literally I counted (counting the fact that there's 338 pages in total and those pages where in the last 38 pages) .I think this book was a bit of a long setup for the next books in the series on the matter of reading the next book(s) im not sure in a way I kind of want to know what happens but another part of me is a bit reluctant to read the next one (granted I only finished the book about half an hour ago when im writing this review and maybe after a bit more time I'll want to read the next one more),
To resume all this it was a good book with is share of things that made me like it and some things that made me a bit irritated.

Quick review :
-slow start
-good characters
-some irritating aspects
-some things could have been more explored
-rushed ending
-main characther slowly loses shape/form

My rating : 2 and 1/2 or 3 out of  5

As last time I will finish this post on some good quotes from the book.Since this book is farely new there are not many quotes already online but I found some good ones from Aprilynne Pikes tumblr. On her tumblr there where spoilers for the book that she posted before the book was released, hence no page number or anything I will put the link to said posts (with the quote on it) though so you can go see it directly on her tumblr page if you want.If just you want to look at her tumblr site in general its simply so here are the quotes:

I rummage through my backpack—not actually looking for my math book, just avoiding looking him in the face. “Hey, Benson?” I begin. “Is … is stalking ever acceptable? Like, justified and not weird and creepy?”

“Oh, absolutely,” Benson says in a very serious voice.

“Really?” I say, and I feel my heart speed up as hope leaps into my chest.

“Yes. When Dana McCraven is stalking me. That is completely acceptable, rational, and even expected as far as I’m concerned.” He strikes an exaggerated thinking pose, resting his cheek on his fist. “No, other than that it’s pretty much always weird and creepy. Why?”

“No reason,” I grumble, going back to my pointless poking around.

“Oh please,” Benson blurts after nearly a minute of silence.

He runs his fingers through his light brown hair, styled in a casual messy look today. “‘What did you have for lunch?’” he says in a high, mocking tone. “That’s a question that people sometimes ask for no reason. ‘What did you do last night?’ is also a random question. I would even accept ‘Did you shower this morning?’ as a question without true motivation since you are aware of the fact that my hygiene habits are beyond reproach. Whether or not stalking is socially acceptable is definitely not a random, casual question.”
Aprilynne Pike- Earth Bound (link )

“Maybe … maybe something changed.”

“Did I change?” My voice is so hollow even I can hear it, and I can’t bring myself to meet his eyes.

“What do you mean?”

“Everything went crazy after the plane wreck. Did the crash change me? Have I always been this way, or did the crash turn me into something … something strange?” I look up at him now. “Did I survive a plane wreck because of my powers, or do I have powers because I survived a plane wreck?”

“Does it matter?” Benson whispers.
I look down at my file. “Maybe.”

Aprilynne Pike - Earth Bound ( link )

Then, making some kind of decision, he drops into a crouch and pulls his wallet out of his back pocket. “May I?”

“May you what?”

He removes what look like two slim sticks from his wallet and, after a little fiddling, unfolds them and snaps them into place.

“Are those lock picks?” I ask, completely shocked.

“Maybe,” he says, inserting one carefully into the doorknob.

Wallet-size lock picks?” I press.

“First rule of Fight Club,” he mutters, focused on his task.

“Fight Club my ass,” I whisper, watching as he expertly works at the dead bolt.

After some fiddling, Benson cranks one of his sticks around—and the knob turns with it. The door glides open on well-oiled hinges. “There you go,” he announces, folding his little lock picks back down and dropping them into the bottom of his wallet.

“Where did you learn that?” I stare at him in shock. And possibly awe.
But he just shrugs, and I suspect that’s all the answer I’m going to get.

Thoughts on..... # 1: Don`t judge a book by its cover.

Hello blog readers,Today I decided to post a new segment. That will be posted not like most segments(memes) every certain day,(like Monday or Tuesday ect...) but every time I have something that I would like to share my thoughts on (like the title says). Any other bloggers out there are welcome to post there own thoughts on post if they want to as long as you mention where you got the idea from (my blog).Okay now onto the post.

Today I will be sharing my thoughts on the saying don't judge a book by its cover.Im sure most people have heard this saying before but have you really thought about it in detail.Thats what I was doing and i thought i would share my thoughts on the subject. The first thing I think about when I hear "don't judge a book by it's cover" is the phrase in the context of applying to a person. Don't judge someone by there looks its what inside that counts, someone might be really good looking on the outside but in the inside have bad personalities, be mean basically ugly in the inside. A funny portrayal of this is the movie Shallow hal here's the trailer.(Ive only seen a bit of this movie but the trailer is enough to show my point.) is the link if the video does not work.

I think this really demonstrates the concept. But then there's also the literal sense of "don't  judge a book by it's cover" and im going to be honest here I do that sometimes.... or most of the time. And im sure im not the only one because i've talked to my friends and read it on some other book blogs that they do it too.To be fair the book cover is what first grabs your attention in the first place, it's what makes you want to read the description on the back of the book ( side note dont you just hate those books with no discription on the back or even inside the sleeve) and then decide if you want to read it.For me if I like the book cover then I read the back(the description) and if that's not interesting to me I just wont read it.So is that really judging a book by its cover or is it just the book getting your attention, if that makes any sense to you ( hopefully it does). Another thing that I started thinking of is what makes a cover beautiful or intriguing is it,personal interest, colors, graphics or title font it's probably most of those, but I think the key factor is personal preference for example if I see a book with a cover that mysterious and magical I will imediatly be interested in what its about but if I see a cover that's has a theme on it that i dislike I probably won't pick it up. Il'l show an example of what im explaining.

Here's a cover that I find really nice and it makes me want to read the book. Below is the descriptions of the first and second book.Because the image shown below is the second book in the series (I have not read the first book or the second book yet ):

First book named Wander lust description:Ever since her sixteenth birthday, strange things keep happening to Seraphina Parrish.

The Lady in Black… burns Sera’s memories.

Unexplainable premonitions… catapult her to other cities.

The Grungy Gang… wants to kill her.

And a beautiful, mysterious boy… stalks her.

But when Sera moves to Chicago, and her aunt reveals their family connection to a centuries old, secret society, she is immediately thrust into an unbelievable fantasy world, leading her on a quest to unravel the mysteries that plague her. In the end, their meanings crash into an epic struggle of loyalty and betrayal, and she’ll be forced to choose between the boy who has stolen her heart and the thing she desires most.

Wander Dust is the breathtaking fantasy that will catapult you through a story of time, adventure, and love

And the second book show above, Protecting truth description:
Seraphina’s keeping a secret from her Wandering team: she’s perfecting her fighting skills. But telling Sam and Bishop the truth would only alert them to her plan: to go back in time, save her mom, and finish what she started. With the help of Turner, Bishop’s handsome twin, she progresses toward her goal but plummets deeper into dangerous territory where the lines of friendship and romance are blurred. One passionate kiss changes everything, leading Sera to unravel a shocking web of family secrets, heartbreaking ulterior motives, and sinister agendas. Love and lies collide in a haunting climax, where the truest souls may not survive

Description of book from

So here's the second book cover the one that I don't find is that nice but im sure some people think it's nicer than the one I prefer and would want to read this one more based on the cover.

Here's the description for the book:
Sixteen-year-old Jack gets drunk and is in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is kidnapped. He escapes, narrowly. The only person he tells is his best friend, Conner. When they arrive in London as planned for summer break, a stranger hands Jack a pair of glasses. Through the lenses, he sees another world called Marbury.

There is war in Marbury. It is a desolate and murderous place where Jack is responsible for the survival of two younger boys. Conner is there, too. But he’s trying to kill them.

Meanwhile, Jack is falling in love with an English girl, and afraid he’s losing his mind.

Conner tells Jack it’s going to be okay.

But it’s not.

Andrew Smith has written his most beautiful and personal novel yet, as he explores the nightmarish outer limits of what trauma can do to our bodies and our minds.

Description of book from

So you see both covers are nice in there own way but someone might look at the cover I prefer and think that doesnt look good at all. While I see it and say that book looks really good.
All this to say judging a book by its cover might not be a bad thing it might help you identify books in the genra that you like and will help pick a book with your personal interests. But reading a book solemnly on the cover is maybe the same thing as judging a person only by there appearance because you never know what kind of things can await inside the book.
Here's an exemple of a book I judged by the cover and liked and a book I judged by its cover and disliked.Folowed by a book I did not judge by its cover and liked and a book I did not judge by its cover and disliked.

The Iron King by Julie Kagawa.I really like this cover and I really liked the book too. So an example of a time I read a book that got my attention because of the cover and really enjoyed it.

Here's the description:

Meghan Chase has a secret destiny; one she could never have imagined.

Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan's life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school or at home.

When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she's known is about to change.

But she could never have guessed the truth - that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war. Now Meghan will learn just how far she'll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil, no faery creature dare face; and to find love with a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart.

Description of book from

Here's an example of a cover I liked and the book Arielle Queen Le reine de la lune maleifique  not so much this book those not have an English version so ill just post the french description for the series(side note the first 7 books in this french series by Michelle J Levesque where very good and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a french book to read however the 8th book I found very slow and less of a story and more of a recap of all the other books and a lot a lot of information giving it a text book feel but like I said the first 7 books are really really good) :

Here's a book cover that I don't like but I loved the book:

The Goose girl by Shanon Hale:
Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee, Crown Princess of Kildenree, spends the first years of her life under her aunt's guidance learning to communicate with animals. As she grows up Ani develops the skills of animal speech, but is never comfortable speaking with people, so when her silver-tongued lady-in-waiting leads a mutiny during Ani's journey to be married in a foreign land, Ani is helpless and cannot persuade anyone to assist her.

Becoming a goose girl for the king, Ani eventually uses her own special, nearly magical powers to find her way to her true destiny. Shannon Hale has woven an incredible, original and magical tale of a girl who must find her own unusual talents before she can become queen of the people she has made her own.

And for a book with a bad cover and a bad book I honestly can't think of one at the moment but I assure you they exist. Im sure anybody reading will be sure to know one. So I'll leave it to you to pick your favorite.

I think all these books prove there are exceptions to every rule you can't just chose a book by it's cover and you can't just chose a book based on the back description because what lies in the pages is a mystery and you never know what you'll find.
Wow all this long post and my conclusion is keep doing what your doing to chose your books because you never know.a merge a both is probably the best thing to pick the right book a good cover bring you to a genra you like and the back description makes the final choice. But even then some books may surprise you.

Something to think about, something to ponder on.
